Weve provided lots of resources Pain, People and Places istock.com / Urupong The Pain, People and Places project seeks to capture the lived experience of people living with persistent musculoskeletal pain in Scotland: how they cope day to day; their interaction with services and support; and the impact of where they live. In the first phase of the project, we interviewed people in the NHS Grampian area and found the level of emotion and unmet need was raw. The Grampian report will be available in April 2021 and the project is moving into its next phase. Joint Creativity exhibition In November 2020, our Young People and Families service in Scotland launched the first virtual Joint Creativity exhibition, Exploring Within. It features artwork made in our Joint Creativity workshops, where young people with arthritis or related conditions can connect with one another and express themselves through different forms of art and crafts. So far, the exhibition has been viewed more than 1,300 times, and now our young people have formed a curatorial group to lead on the next exhibition. More than 75 per cent of the funds we rely on come from supporters who choose to remember our work in this very special way. We simply could not continue to change lives without them.
