Well done, Claire! alex sargeson, Carlisle sound of silence As someone who didnt do anything about arthritis for a few years, reading last issues piece on not suffering in silence really struck a chord with me. I simply cant express the benefits of seeking help early on. Thanks, Inspire, for raising this important issue. Jean Lamb, southend Back to it roll with it Grandad knows best Eds response: Thanks Jenny. We have a Travelling Abroad factsheet, where issues such as luggage are addressed. You can download it here. Eds response: Great to hear, Daniel! Youll be pleased to hear that Somerset King has come up with three exciting new recipes here be sure to try them out next time your family visits! I would be interested to see an article about luggage for people with arthritis. I love to travel but have spinal arthritis, and began to find that towing a two-wheeled suitcase around airports was too hard on my back. So I recently bought a suitcase with four wheels, on the basis that all the weight would be on the floor and I would just have to guide it. It works fine on smooth surfaces; however, it is quite hard to steer on rough surfaces. I am still working on a solution, and suspect that other readers might also like advice on this. I always enjoy reading Inspire as I find it a very positive magazine. Jenny Wickham, via email My grandchildren came to visit last week and we tried your recipe for chocolate brownies from the last issue. They werent quite the chocolate brownies they were used to, but they absolutely loved them! Ill definitely be making them again, thank you for the recipe! Daniel summers, Basingstoke I felt really inspired by Elaine Searles story in the last issue it was great to see how someone of her age keeps so active! It has made me want to join an exercise class near me. Im approaching my late fifties and have back problems from exercise when I was younger, but this has given me the motivation to keep active. elinor pulman, Manchester
