Weve got loads to keep you entertained this issue, including tips on surviving christmas, help with keeping warm and how to get started in tai chi. In the spirit of practising what you preach, the arthritis Care fundraising team at the UK office recently set themselves personal fundraising challenges throughout October. These included running, swimming marathons, walking the West Highlands and giving up chocolate. The team urged family, friends and fellow colleagues to donate money to help improve the lives of people living with arthritis. a particular mention goes to public fundraising manager, James Thomson, who walked the entire way from the London office to his home in Colchester (a whole 69 miles!). This was no mean feat and took four days to complete. James even met the Mayor of Colchester when he finally reached his destination. So far, the fundraising team has raised an impressive 5,443 through their efforts well done!
