And we are, but with good reason. There is a distinct difference between allowing yourself a solid eight hours to sleep and actually getting it. Noisy environments, hotel rooms and remembering that really embarrassing thing you said six years ago can lead to us lying awake hours before our alarm goes off, simply accepting that we will just be tired tomorrow. Our phones are often the enemy; constant scrolling and blue light damages what little sleep hygiene we might have. But perhaps phones might also offer a solution in the form of sleep apps.
