Long-term planning under the spotlight Following the success of the first programme, the IAM has again partnered with ITN Business to produce a digital news-style programme, Why Outcomes Matter, highlighting the importance of starting with the end in mind when it comes to building infrastructure. This programme looks at organisations and projects that are not only committed to delivering on time and budget, but also, more importantly, to benefiting society. We hope you enjoy these short videos, produced with the expertise of ITN Business and following on from the first series entitled Planning for the Long Term. Please help us spread the message Why Outcomes Matter with your colleagues and friends, and share the link. Course to be offered in Spanish The IAM is proud to launch the Foundation Award Course in Spanish. This course provides an excellent foundation for understanding the basics, language, and significant benefits organisations derive from an asset management (AM) approach. It also presents the content and role of the International Standards for AM (ISO 55000). The course lays the foundation for taking an AM approach, what it entails, and the key determinants for success. It also allows students to see how AM involves everyone in the organisation and how their role can be directly or indirectly affected. Exams milestone reached The IAM has reached an important milestone with the announcement that more than 10,000 people have taken the IAM Certificate and Diploma in Asset Management from 63 countries globally. The IAM strives to promote personal development and recognition through these qualifications, which are recognised worldwide. Learn more about our qualifications here.
