L IGH T E R S I D E RUN TIME Athletic-minded delegates at the FIDI Conference braved an early morning start to take part in a 5km run and walk, sponsored by Gerson Relocation and raising money for the Marie Curie cancer charity. After not being able to meet face to face for more than two years, it was a great way to catch up with friends and colleagues from across the world and get some exercise in the process. Preceded by a group warm-up, the weather on the day was perfect for those attending to either run, walk, or just take a pleasant pre-business stroll. The route took in some of the highlights of Cannes, including the beachfront promenade and the old city. Russell Start, CEO of AGM Group, who attended the event, said: The recent pandemic restrictions were challenging for everyone. While we remained positive and connected through virtual meetings and conferences, nothing can replace being able to get together in person. It was great to see so many familiar faces from across the industry gathering to have fun and catch up in such a beautiful location.
