PE O PLE M OVE S GRAEBEL FILLS DATA AND RISK POSITIONS Graebel Companies has Eric Pearson made two appointments to its leadership team: John Matis as Chief Information Security Officer and Eric Pearson, who is promoted to General Counsel and Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. Almost every industry experienced a digital transformation at the start of the pandemic, creating new security challenges and opportunities that have brought data security to the forefront of executive decision-making, said Graebel President Ron Dunlap. Graebel recognises the crucial role data security and compliance will continue to play in our organisation, which is why Im excited to welcome John to Graebel as our Chief Information Security Officer. Matis has 20 years experience in public and private sector security leadership. According to Dunlap, he will lead Graebels security strategy and framework to meet the needs of todays highly mobile workforce and ensure were maintaining our clients and their mobile employees trust in our digital interactions together and within our business practices. Matis added: Our data security and compliance team will support the companys overall commitment to people by putting employees, supplier partners, and clients at the forefront of our strategy as we proactively focus on prevention and mitigation to create exceptional experiences. Pearson, meanwhile, will work towards the same end goal identifying risks to Graebel, our clients and partners and establishing protocols to reduce risk on the front end and develop strategies to mitigate where needed, according to Dunlap. Pearson, who has a background in law, said: As Graebel evolves, we need to ensure that we have progressive and compliant policies and procedures in place to continue our history of operating in a legal and compliant manner. My goal is to embed a legal viewpoint in our organisation to support our growth. NEW GM IN BEIJING Asian Tigers China (mainland) has announced that Simon Shrubsole has been appointed General Manager for Asian Tigers Beijing, effective from 30 May, 2022. He has an MBA in Service Innovation and Design and 15 years experience in the global mobility industry with management roles in Finland and the Netherlands. Loikkanen said: I am very happy to join Alfa as the industry leader in the Nordic countries. I see this as an exciting journey where I will make sure to do my best to take Alfa to the next level. Cole and Amatucci have both taken on roles as Vice-Presidents of Operations, while Bannon becomes Director of Marketing and ESG at the company.
