F ID I C O N FE R ENCE WORKSHOPS AT THE CONFERENCE Risk management The FAIM Coordination Centre (FCC) will again host workshops on FAIM-related topics. In addition, the FCC will have two EY senior managers onsite this year, hosting workshops on risk management in the moving sector. Risk management is the practice of using processes, methods and tools for managing risks. Keren (Yagel) Brody, Senior Manager at EY, and Thijs Deweerdt, Senior Manager at EY Advisory, will host these hands-on sessions to help you broaden your view on how to manage the different risks that an international moving company faces today. The FAIM 3.2 Standard is the next scheduled step in a quality maturity development, based on best practices and continuous improvement. Its key focus is on reducing risks, meeting contemporary industry requirements and exceeding customer demands. Besides the mandatory foundation and international moving service criteria, the main pillars of FAIM 3.2 are: financial stability; effective supplychain management; compliance with Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Anti-Trust and Data (privacy) Protection requirements.
