Editors comment Team effort Guest editor and BPA President Jade Neville on going beyond parking Hot on the heels of BPA Live! (see pages 40-42), we step straight into the slipstream of Parkex and our Macmillian Charity Golf Day (see pages 18-33). Parkex is bittersweet for any BPA President. It is the biggest show of the year and the last hurrah of your tenure. As I reflect on the past 11 months, I see growth, achievement and the foundations of the future sector being laid out before us: foundations that are unique in their strength and ability to adapt to an ever changing world. We have truly gone beyond parking, delivering on our promise to create more ways to get involved in the community, embedding polices that ensure we have inclusivity and diversity at the heart of our strategy, and, ultimately, shaping a stronger, more inclusive, and safer future for our sector. Im honoured to have served as your President over this term and will leave the role feeling proud of all we have achieved so far and will continue to achieve. One of my favourite things about being President is interacting with members so if you see me at Parkex, do come and say hi (maybe even grab a selfie!). I will be chairing the two morning sessions on day two, at the new EV Theatre, starting with Delivering an accessible EV charging infrastructure (see also our lead feature on page 14-16). Please head over and check out the panel discussions that will be taking place. I look forward to celebrating with you all at Parkex, where we will truly see the hard work and dedication of our sector come to life.
