Companies news ARVOO links up with ZatPark ZatPark has formed a partnership with ARVOO, a leading developer and global player in image processing and ANPR systems, to provide private operators with a comprehensive and innovative way to manage their sites. RingGo staff offered EV scheme Employees at RingGo can now access an electric vehicle (EV) salary sacrifice scheme following a new partnership with Select Car Leasing. With salary sacrifice, an employee sacrifices part of their salary to receive a company car in return, while paying less income tax and National Insurance. The salary sacrifice scheme is reserved exclusively for EVs. Alpha training Alpha Parking is continuing to provide online and classroom training during the spring months. This includes four-day training courses in notice processing, civil enforcement, and for team leaders and supervisors. One-day refresher and bespoke training are also offered, as is conflict management and traffic order training. For more information, contact parkingenquiries@aparking.co.uk UKs second-largest charging hub opens in Wales SWARCO Smart Charging has partnered with Denbighshire County Council in the rollout of the largest electric vehicle (EV) charging hub in Wales, and the second-largest in the UK. The new charging hub, located in the West Kinmel Street car park in Rhyl, has capacity for 36 EVs. A mix of rapid 50kw and fast 7kw chargers have been installed, and three of the parking bays and charging units are specifically allocated for disabled users. The project has been funded by the Welsh government. Justin Meyer, managing director of SWARCO Smart Charging, said: Having proven and reliable charging equipment available for public use is key to supporting the uptake of EVs. We are proud to have supported Denbighshire County Council in the delivery of this new, state-of-the-art charging hub in Rhyl the largest of its kind in Wales. Cllr Barry Mellor, lead member for environment and transport, said: We are really pleased to open Rhyls new charging hub and I thank the local community for their support during construction. This facility will help those in the area who dont have off-street parking and want to move to running an EV. Visitors will also be able to charge their vehicles here, which, in turn, will support the business community of the town. SWARCO won awards in two categories at the 2023 E-Mobility Awards EV Service Team of the Year and EV Network Operator of the Year. The firm was awarded EV Network Operator of the Year for its role as network operator for ChargePlace Scotland.
