The move will see Compleo UK deliver a further 1,000 charging stations by the end of 2024. It furthers the relationship between APCOA and Compleo after their initial partnership saw 451 chargers being installed across six Network Rail public car parks last year. APCOA will also extend its service offering in the EV market with 24-7 customer support via its national customer service centre and maintenance and support teams. Kim Challis, regional managing director UK&I and group ESG director, said: Compleos commitment to continuous development of charging technology and the support from the UK team make Compleo the perfect partner for our EV chargepoint network. The APCOA Connect payment app is integrated via API with the Compleo backend software, enabling EV drivers to park and charge in either one single payment or separate transactions. Valentin Scheltow, managing director of Compleo UK, said: We are excited about our partnership with APCOA. The two organisations have, in a short period of time, made significant progress in the market. We are now actively working on our next project for a major NHS Trust and five different city centre car parks across the UK. Germanys Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) has approved the automated parking system, developed by Bosch and Mercedes-Benz, for use in the car park. This makes it the worlds first highly automated driverless parking function to be officially approved for commercial use. Frank van der Sant, chief commercial officer of APCOA Parking Group, said: We are extremely pleased to have successfully developed a connected system for driverless and contactless parking together with our partners from Bosch, Mercedes-Benz, and Stuttgart Airport. Our digital platform, APCOA FLOW, can be used to book spaces, for contactless access to the parking garage.
