O B I TUARI E S BOB SULLIVAN Bob Sullivan, of Arpin Group, died suddenly aged 50 on December 15, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Donna and loving father of Michaela, Kaitlyn and Aidan. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, Bob worked for more than 25 years in the moving industry. He started his career at Interconex and thereafter spent more than 20 years at the Arpin Group, where he held the role of Senior Vice President of Corporate Accounts. Through his vision and leadership, Arpin expanded into a global company, starting in the UK in 2003, followed by Germany, Ireland, Singapore, China and Dublin. Bob was a keen supporter and friend of FIDI and was instrumental in signing up Affiliate offices in China, Singapore and Germany. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed playing hockey and was a member of the Bada Bing Mens Hockey League and the Maroons in Anaheim, California (US). Bob was also actively involved in multiple charities and was committed to making a difference. Among his many accomplishments, Bob worked tirelessly to raise awareness of CHRIS DANIELS Christine Daniels, well known in the FIDI community, has died aged 48, after a five-year battle with breast cancer. Chris, as she was known to her many friends in the industry, started work at 16 for former FIDI Affiliate Bolliger USA, and stayed there for 24 years before moving to Continuum. She was a valued friend to many FIDI Affiliates. Born in Stamford, Connecticut, she was a keen cook and baker, and also served as an Eucharistic Minister. She is survived by many family members, including husband Tom Hansen and three children Connor, Matthew and Kristyn, as well as her mother Diana, brother Greg and grandmother Elizabeth. WW W. KIRK LOPEZ Suddath has announced the sudden death of long-time employee Kirk Lopez. Kirk, who joined the company in 2006, died in December from complications after surgery. Pricing Manager of the Suddath International team, Kirk will be remembered for his kindness, attention to detail, responsiveness and willingness to see the job through to completion. He was an enthusiastic volunteer for charitable events and participated in company functions on a regular basis. Staff said his good heart was always a bright spot in their day.
