And now our Miami office has been FAIM certified as well, stregthening the companys household goods business in the region. We originally expanded from our home in Brazil in 2011, when we opened a representative office in Miami to serve our DSP and relocation customers. Five years later, we branched out to include logistics services and have now completed the picture with international household goods. G-Inter offers excellent moving services by: acting as origin and destination agent; handling customs clearance at the port or airport of arrival; offering groupage clearance; and supplying permanent storage in our ambient or climate-controlled warehouse. The premises are in the Miami area, featuring 23,000 square feet of warehousing space, a 10-minute drive from International Miami Airport, with easy access from all main highways. In Brazil, G-Inter has a large corporate account base for international household goods moves. However, economic challenges have created a steady flow of private individuals moving to Florida, which is popular with many Latin American families. The board of directors believes that being a member of global associations and attending conferences is important for the success of the organisation, which ensures that FIDI Affiliates work under a worldwide common standard for managing and performing international moving services in a uniformed, qualityminded and effective way. It also provides a transparent mechanism that ensures the highest standards. Now, G-Inter Miami is part of a prime group of international companies to hold FIDI FAIM quality assurance.
