Noticeboard Hallmarking training day announced Spend a day at the magnificent Goldsmiths Hall this November learning about the legalities of hallmarking in the UK. Trading standards officers are being offered the opportunity to take part in a full days training at the Goldsmiths Company, in London, on 16 November. The day will feature: l Expert advice from the Assay Office l An experienced trading standards officer, who will share his findings on enforcement of The Hallmarking Act l A practical session try your hand at hallmarking and learn how to spot fakes and forgeries l An exclusive tour of the Assay Office l Lunch with wine l Certificate of attendance Attendees will also learn about the exclusive and coveted Touchstone Award.
