ROLF BEUTEL Rolf Beutel, General Manager of Paramount Transportation Systems, died suddenly on 17 June 2019 at the age of 50. He joined Paramount in May and worked in the industry for more than 22 years. He was previously Managing Director of Santa Fes operations in Malaysia, where his responsibilities included leading and overseeing growth of the company, customer care and service delivery. Rolf had experience in talent mobility, business development, finance and operations management in various key leadership roles throughout Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the US. He was the son of Karen Beutel (Guem) and her companion Pat Feeley, and Alfred Rudy Beutel. He was married to Jahzel Rueya Lih and father to twin girls, Sofia and Steffi. JAN EMIL CARLSEN One of the pioneers of the Norwegian moving industry, Jan Emil Carlsen, has died at the age of 84, his family has announced. He was suffering from pneumonia. Carlsen was a third-generation owner of Frogner Transportbyr AS and a well-known figure in the international moving industry. He died on 14 June at Brum Hospital, Norway, in the arms of his wife Bjrg, surrounded by their three sons, Geirr, Bjrn and Jan Birger, and seven grandchildren, Helene, Daniel, Ole-Morten, Stian, Andreas, Mathias and Emilie. O B I TUARI E S LUIS LERDO DE TEJADA Founder and CEO for Transcontainer Group, Luis Lerdo de Tejada, of Mexico City, Mexico, died on 4 June, 2019. He was born in Mexico City on 7 July 1939 and was married to Mara del Carmen Martnez de Lerdo de Tejada for 54 years. He is survived by Mara, children Carmen, Patricia, Ana Luisa and Luis Alejandro, and his grandchildren Camila, Alexia, Lucano, Patty and Isabella. His daughter, Carmen Lerdo de Tejada Jr., said: Luis Lerdo de Tejada was a great leader and loved by all the Transcontainer family. He was amazing and generous; he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and the Transcontainer family.
