Get involved Versus Arthritis works with and for people who have any type of arthritis. We are here to help you manage your condition better, and stay active, independent and connected In October last year, we launched a new social venture. Years in the making, Arthr is on a mission to improve everyday living for people with arthritis. Arthr designs, develops and champions products to help people with arthritis live to the full. These standout designs are created by a team of talented designers in collaboration with users. They are rigorously tested by a community of experts and people with arthritis for safety, durability and robustness. Powered by us at Versus Arthritis, profits are reinvested into new product development and donated back to us. You can browse the products and find out more at arthr.com or contact the Versus Arthritis helpline to request an Arthr brochure to be sent to you. How would you spend 25,000? So weve teamed up with Queens University Belfast School of Medicine, Ulster University School of Pharmacy, and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy to help the next generation of healthcare professionals provide better care. Through the Patient Voice role, our volunteers are supporting health professionals through online training to help them empathise with people who have arthritis or persistent pain. During Covid-19, with clinic staff, we quickly adapted to supporting young people and families digitally when families needed us most. We ran online meetings with tips on sleep, relaxation, school work and exam stress. Were excited to be working together to develop holistic outreach support at satellite clinics as the new centres become established across South Wales.
