Noticeboard National Consumer Week campaign wins award Representatives of the Consumer Protection Diary dates September 15 ACTSO executive board meeting, London 16 ACTSO annual general Partnership celebrate winning their award The Consumer Protection Partnership (CPP) has won the Partnership Engagement Initiative of the Year category at the UK Public Sector Communications Awards 2015. PR firm Grayling submitted the entry for the National Consumer Week 2014 campaign, Good Neighbours Stop Rogue Traders. The campaign was a partnership led by CTSI, Citizens Advice and National Trading Standards, although all CPP partners took part and engaged with their target audiences. The CPP created a week-long integrated communications campaign to raise awareness of doorstep crime and empower people to act. It was achieved by engaging and working with partners across the public, consumer and voluntary sectors, as well as with professionals best placed to help protect vulnerable citizens from rogues traders. This module again looks at the Consumer Rights Act, but this time focuses on investigatory powers. To complete the module, members should fill out an online form on CTSIs website by 23 October.
