All change as the seasons turn Ivy Hughes Editor-in-chief ivyh@tsi.org.uk Spring is a time of renewal and particularly so in the UK this year, when new political shoots will soon be breaking through, alongside natures colourful blooms. Since 1 April, CTSI has also undergone a transformation: it received chartered status, changed its logo and branding and unveiled a new website www.tradingstandards.uk Each of these changes is aimed at increasing the credibility and visibility of the profession, but the institute is also on the verge of large-scale strategic changes. CTSIs new director of commercial operations, Nikki Pasek, is working with the organisation to evaluate its commercial enterprises, and the policy team and leadership are creating a vision that will change the way that trading standards operates. Spring is certainly shaping up to be an exciting season for the profession.
