BPA elections Stepping up The results of the latest BPA elections are in, as Glenn Dives reports he latest round of BPA elections took place in July, with candidates contesting seats on our service boards. These boards oversee specific aspects of the Associations work, including communications, innovation and research, operator schemes and accreditations, and professional development and standards. Each of these service boards helps influence the BPAs work and long-term strategic direction, and their members have a key role in informing this strategy. T The candidates represented every corner of membership, and each one brought a range of talents and experience In these latest elections, 14 candidates stood for a total of four positions, with one candidate standing unopposed. They represented every corner of membership from consultants through to enforcement agents and each one brought a range of talents and experience. Alas, not every person could be successful on this occasion. Congratulations to everyone who made it onto a service board we look forward to working with you during your three-year term and commiserations to those who didnt make it. Do please keep trying. We would also like to thank all outgoing service board members for their work for the Association, and hope we can continue to engage positively with you all. We are all part of a growing and changing profession, and there will be plenty of work to do to ensure we are ready for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
