F I D I C H ARI TY FOOD FOR THOUGHT Affiliates worldwide showed their commitment to FIDIs new charity when they took part in our Heal with a Meal Day in January. More than US$6,000 was raised for Healing with Feeling in India, allowing the FIDI Charity to start providing resources to the two junior schools it supports. Thank you to everyone who took part. Here is a round-up of the fundraising activities FIDI OFFICE The FIDI office held a lunch sale for its neighbours in surrounding offices and for local FIDI Affiliates. The event included a tombola sponsored by Hastens and live music by FIDIs Andrew Mavin. FIDI staff baked and sold sweet and savoury dishes and had sold everything by closing time. Thanks to AGS Coussaert Belgium and Transworld International for stopping by and showing their support. FINK FINK offices in Braslia, Rio de Janeiro and So Paulo held lunch sales for its teams on Heal with a Meal Day. FINK in So Paulo mixed sustainability with social responsibility by organising a lunchtime bazaar. Employees donated clothes and other unwanted items to support the cause, which were then sold to their colleagues. JK MOVING Staff at JK Moving were excited to hear about FIDIs new charity project and held a bake sale for Heal with a Meal Day. Despite discovering that January was a challenging time to hold a bake sale on account of all those recently made new years resolutions they still managed to raise US$1,660 for Healing with Feeling.
