IN D U ST RY N EW S Johnson Storage & Moving announces Bernardo acquisition Colorado-based Johnson Storage & Moving has acquired Bernardo Moving & Storage, located in San Marcos, California. Bernardo is a former Wheaton Van Lines agent with a strong following in north San Diego County, including Escondido, Encinitas, San Marcos, Carlsbad, and Del Mar among other communities. Johnsons will run Bernardo as a satellite of its existing San Diego logistics/moving and storage business located in Otay Mesa and operate Bernardos 30,000ft2 facility to service north San Diego County and Orange County with local, military, and ofce moving services. Interstate operations will continue to be located in Johnsons 60,000ft2 facility in Otay. Bernardos former owners, Karen and David Price, will stay on with the company as relocation consultants, helping with the transition.
